Those who bias the torture debate by pandering to fear and casting it asÂ
'you're either with us or you're with the terrorists' are as disingenuous
as those who try to justify terrorism by perverting Islam. It is not a choiceÂ
of one or the other. There is nothing inconsistent in holding torturers andÂ
terrorists accountable for acts that break the law.
