Millions and millions are deeply disturbed and outraged by the aggressive and immoral actions of their government. Politics as usual cannot meet the enormity of the challenge, and people sense this. But silence and paralysis are NOT acceptableThat which you will not resist and mobilize to stop, you will learn - or be forced - to accept.

We must, and can, aim to create a political situation where the policy of unprovoked attack on sovereign states is repudiated, where the accomplices to war crimes are driven from office, and where the whole direction Bush, and now Obama, has been taking society is reversed.

People in this country have to get visibly and loudly into the streets in protest; on the airwaves, on the internet, and everywhere, to denounce this coming attack on Syria.
